Java Developer Team Leader

A leading human capital consultancy based in London, currently have an exciting opportunity for a Java Development Team Leader to join our team.

Alderbrooke works with boards, management teams and human resources to help clients deliver and exceed strategic objectives. To continue our growth, we require a delivery focused Java Developer Team Leader who will manage the service delivery and quality through managing the development team’s operations and staff as well as facilitating and contributing to the development of team performance and capabilities.

As Java Developer Team Leader you will be responsible for the following: –

Skills Development: 40%

  • Extensive knowledge of Java SDK v1.8, Springboot v1.3.3 and Maven v3.3.3
  • Experience of using database – Oracle/PostgreSQL v4
  • Good knowledge of Angular JS v1.2.13
  • Familiar with using IDE – Eclipse v 4.5.0

Application Specific: 15%

  • Knowledge of different testing modules and Support issues.
  • Willing to learn or already have background in Oracle Cloud and Amazon AWS with Java v1.10.69
  • Regular client interaction.
  • Experience of working in Agile SDLC model.

Testing 15%:

  • Able to write or design test cases for Manual testing.
  • Assisting other team members in Manual testing and Acceptance testing.

Team Management: 30%

  • Assigning work to staff on the development team
  • Communicating and coordinating jobs and projects around the development team
  • Providing advice and assistance to team members when troubleshooting and escalating issues
  • Managing the availability and responsibilities on the development desk
  • Monitoring and identifying strengths and weaknesses of the team’s skills
  • Encouraging the development of the development team capabilities
  • Contributing to the personal development of each member within the team
  • Defining and measuring team KPI’s with the Managing Director, tracking team performance, and encouraging continuous improvement

Java Developer

To continue our growth, we require a delivery focused Java Developer who will assist the Development Team with projects as well as provide assistance with maintenance, support and updates with recent technology.

As Java Developer you will be responsible for the following: –

Skills Development: 60%

  • Extensive knowledge of Java SDK v1.8, Springboot v1.3.3 and Maven v3.3.3
  • Experience of using database – Oracle/PostgreSQL v4

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ B2B marketing experience – focused on creating marketing collateral, sales enablement material and high-quality presentations
  • Experience of running digital campaigns using closed loop marketing and building awareness using a comprehensive range of social media, including blogs. This work will also include building and cleansing digital contact lists.
  • Experience of developing web content and using Google Analytics
  • Work to support Conferences, events, focus group discussions and customer / prospect engagement activity which is likely to include webinars and podcasts.
  • An understanding of options to position disruptive technology, SaaS, Business Intelligence or HR Assessment solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to build communities and to capture the imagination of senior leaders
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • InVision training will be provided if required.

Alderbrooke Group is an expanding Cultural Analytics consultancy with a market leading Behavioural and HR  Analytics solution, CultureScope. Established in 2012, Alderbrooke has ambitious plans in the Cultural Analytics marketplace and is now looking to expand the sales team. Candidates will possess the natural confidence and charisma to quickly build relationships with senior C-suite decision makers and will drive the use of Cultural Analytics and insight tools based on individual and an organisation’s behaviour.

This is an ideal role for a sales professional who has been part of a team in a larger HR Analytics company and who now wants to make a significant impact in a smaller company with a start-up mentality.

The market opportunity is substantial and will combine a structured approach to business development with the drive to help build the business at pace. Candidates will understand how to present a data driven HR Analytics solution to senior executives and decision makers.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years’ B2B sales experience building senior stakeholder relationships including experience engaging senior Human Resources, Organisational Development and Strategy leaders in target clients
  • Proven track record as a top performing sales professional who can generate new business through self-sourced referrals and exceed targets
  • 3+ years selling HR Analytics technology or HR assessment solutions to enterprise-level prospects
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple divisions or stakeholders
  • Excellent written communication with a flair in constructing proposals
  • Outstanding oral communication skills with the ability to present analytics solutions at all levels
  • Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint & data reporting

We are looking to find an enthusiastic CultureScope certification trainer to educate our partners/customers up to level 1 or 2 in the interpretation, methods, administration and application of CultureScope. You must be extremely knowledgeable in organisational or occupational psychology. Additionally, we expect you to be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex subjects in a clear and an interesting way.

Responsibilities

  • Produce training schedules
  • Determine course content
  • Prepare training material (presentations, exercises etc.)
  • Deliver the Training workshop (training sessions, web meetings etc. in groups or individually)
  • Keep and report data on completed courses and issues.

The Ideal Candidate
